This story may remind you of a movie from 2013, but I have a rejection from before the movie came out. It is funny to see how my “Near future Sci-Fi” has become completely plausible in only a little over a decade. We are, indeed, living in the future.

Our Shuttle Ride to See Aunt Della by James A. Miller
A trip with the in-laws turns more challenging than expected. It’s up to our hero to help fix the situation, but he only edits the shuttle’s technical manuals.
This story is a good example of the kind of humorous and light Science Fiction I like to write, but unfortunately didn’t resonate with the markets. It did get held until the third round with Andromeda Spaceways in flight magazine.
